Azumi Boutique Hotel; Luxury meets Affordability

Azumi Boutique Hotel; Luxury meets Affordability

“What do you want to do on Valentine’s Day?” That was my question to my wife a week before Heart’s Day. We are pretty much very comfortable at each other that we ask what we want on a certain occasion. My wife loves staycations. Me, not so much. I’m not the type of guy who’ll pay a huge sum of money just to lay around in a fancy room and watch T.V. That money could go a long way when you travel. But well, it’s Valentine’s Day right? Time to give wifey some Hotel pampering after all those stays in budget hostels and economy fan rooms.

So I quickly searched the net for some nice, elegant yet affordable hotel to stay for the weekend. After browsing some blogs and articles, I found Azumi Hotel in Alabang.

Nice Lobby!

It is a modern looking hotel located in Madrigal Business Park in Alabang. Boasting 186 elegantly furnished rooms, an infinity pool and a 360 degree view of the Alabang Skyline at the rooftop. It is one of the highest rated hotels in the metro in Trip Advisor and all of the blog reviews I visited are all praises for this Hotel. This is really a no-brainer for me so I quickly booked our room for Valentine’s Day.

Please read on for our Azumi experience.

Location

Azumi Boutique Hotel’s location is perfect for a quick weekend getaway and for travelers who needs a place to rest their bodies after a long flight. It is just a short drive from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and very accessible from SLEX.

Malls like the Alabang Town Center and Molito Mall is just around 3-5 minutes walking distance from the Hotel. If you’re feeling a little lazy to walk, they have a complimentary shuttle service to these malls.

The Hotel is also very near Puregold supermarket, 7-11, Domino’s Pizza, Jollibee, Mercury Drug and nearby restaurants so everything you need is just a stone throw’s away.

Amenities

Just besides the Hotel Lobby, there is a nail spa called ‘Nail Spa’ lol. Women would love to pamper themselves here. I think I also saw leaflets in our room that offers massages.

Hotel Reception!

They also have a Filipino resto-bar called Romulo’s Café on the ground floor. If you booked a room that comes with free breakfast then you will dine here.

But what we love most is the infinity pool at the roof deck of the Hotel. It’s similar to Marina Bay Sands in SG so if you don’t have time or funds yet to go to Singapore to experience it, then Azumi Hotel is your best bet.

Azumi Hotel Infinity Pool

Chillaxing in their Infinity Pool

A nice thing about this amenity is they have a bar at the roof deck so you can order drinks here while you relax in the pool. When night falls, they turn the place into a disco bar!

TIP: You don’t need to bring your towels here. You can just get one from the staff.

The Service

The Hotel receptionists are friendly and accommodating. They always have a warm smile when answering your questions and are very knowledgeable about what the Hotel offers and their services.

The Bellboys, the housekeepers and the managers always greets you in the friendliest way.

2 thumbs up for their quality service.

The Room

Now, let’s talk about the room. We booked a Queen room 2 weeks before Valentine’s and they have this early bird promo so instead of paying around 6k plus, we only paid 3280 (2688 base plus taxes) for one night. For me, it’s a nice catch. This ain’t a 5-star hotel (Azumi is 4 star) but with its amenities, comfort and cleanliness, it sure feels like you are staying in one.

Azumi Hotel Mirror Room

Large mirrors in our room. 🙂

Staying in this room feels like home. It has a fridge, microwave oven, LED TV, closet and an awesome glass walled bathroom that is perfect for couples and those who are staying solo.

Would definitely recommend this to anyone else who likes to stay in their budget but loves the pleasure of luxury.
